The Corporate
Most corporate security protects the data. Very little protects the conversation, and that is usually where your most valuable information exists first: in the boardroom, the executive office and the meeting before the deal. Listening devices and cameras are now cheap, small and easy to buy online, and they are most often planted by someone who was allowed in.
In its 2023 Annual Threat Assessment, ASIO warned that “Australia is facing an unprecedented challenge from espionage and foreign interference”. Commercial competitors and disgruntled insiders use the same tools.
Technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM) is the professional search for hidden surveillance devices. For corporate clients we sweep boardrooms, executive offices, meeting rooms, offsite venues, hotel rooms and executive vehicles, and inspect mobile phones, telephone systems and Wi-Fi for compromise.
Most organisations call for a sweep after something has leaked, when the damage is already done. The Boardroom Assurance Program builds TSCM into your security protocol as a scheduled control, so your sensitive spaces are swept on a set calendar and before the moments that matter. The aim is to reduce the window of opportunity for a perpetrator to deploy a threat device, and to find one quickly if they do.
Every program is built with you after a confidential review of your premises and risks. Together we agree how often your sensitive spaces are swept, which events trigger an extra sweep, and whether executive vehicles, mobile phones and offsite venues are included. You receive a written report after every sweep, suitable for your risk or audit committee.
Every site is different, so every sweep and program is quoted individually. Send us your floor plan and we will provide a confidential quote. Depending on the size of the site, a sweep takes from about four hours to a couple of weeks.
The Specialization
Our spectrum analysis covers a broad range of frequencies, including current 5G bands, and the software scales to future allocations. We use the OSCOR Green 24 GHz analyser and Kestrel TSCM software, alongside the rest of our TSCM equipment.
Every signal we detect is cross-referenced against the ACMA licence database to separate legitimate, licensed transmitters from signals that need further investigation.
The Specialization
Electronic detection only finds devices that are switched on or transmitting. Many modern devices record silently to a memory card, or sit dormant until they are needed. That is why every sweep includes a hands-on physical search of the places devices are most often concealed.
